Woolworths: Potts Point review by Died On Hold

Not quite Hillary and Everest, but I go because it's there

To be fair to Woolies, having Woolies Potts Point is much better than not having it. The fact it's in a small, and oddly-shaped space is a function of the real estate available, not a broader corporate aspiration to build poky, L-shaped stores. They've also just spruced this place up, with a better layout and, seemingly,. better-looking produce. The one thing I can't quite come at is the self-service kiosks, which now outnumber human checkout personnel by about 5 to 1. I realise self-service works much better than live service at the airport (in fact I am a huge fan) but personally I get no kicks from weighing my own bananas. So Woolworths PP is a handy facility, but lack of emotional engagement gets it only 3 stars.
