Darlington, NSW, 2008
Darlington is a small suburb in Inner Sydney, near Central Station and Redfern. Darlington is largely populated by students from the nearby University of Sydney and the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), giving the suburb a youthful atmosphere. Darlington’s streetscape is characterised by narrow lanes and terrace housing. The most famous landmark of Darlington is CarriageWorks, a retired railway yard which is now a centre aimed at promoting contemporary arts.
